The Central Area of Valladolid Local Action Group, since its foundation, has favoured an economic strategy based on sustainable development and appreciation of natural heritage. The wealth of birds in our territory offers a potential that has yet to be developed and a new possibility for tourism and leisure activities. The Riberas de Castronuño-Vega del Duero Nature Preserve and the river banks of the Rivers Duero and Pisuerga form, inside the area in which we operate, very important ecosystems for birds.

Our participation in the TRINO project has a double objective. First, to instill respect for “our” nature, connected to its people, landscapes and customs. Second, to make it possible to offer a more diverse range of tourism activities, offering a useful tool to attract a tourism, principally related to the community, that requests these kinds of activities.

The only thing left to do now is to invite you all to visit the Central Area of Valladolid so that you can enjoy not only its birds or its landscapes, but rather everything that this region, forged over the years, has to offer in terms of heritage, cuisine, festivals, customs, leisure…you will undoubtedly be surprised.
