The Montaña Palentina Regional Development Group is an entity that brings together public and private institutions with the goal of promoting economic, social, and cultural development in the territory in which it operates, seeking a sense of overall development in the region and respect for and exploitation of the internal resources that this region possesses.

It exists as a Local Action Group for the management of the Regional Rural Development Programme as part of the Leadercal Community Initiative.
