SEGOVIA SUR

The Association for the rural development of Segovia Sur is a non-profit organisation created in 1992, and since then it has worked toward the promotion and internal development of the area, currently composed of fifty-one municipalities in the northern basin of the Sierra de Guadarrama Mountains. The Association is made up of: cultural associations, farmers’ unions, town halls, commonwealths of municipalities, self-employed workers, businesspeople from different sectors, and people from the region.

The association’s principal objectives are to promote overall development in rural areas, including cultural, economic, educational and social development, and also to promote the participation of the resident population in rural areas.
