CITIES AND TOWNS

The urban areas are resources which are used more and more by birds as they offer an inexhaustible supply of food, as well as buildings and other structures being suitable for building nests. Example species which use these areas are the White Stork, the lesser kestrel, the Common House Martin, the Barn Swallow, the Spotless Starling and the House Sparrow.

Within these areas, PARKS AND GARDENS provide green and fresh oases which attract numerous wild species such as the Great Tit, the European Greenfinch or the Blue Tit.
