ADRECAG

The association for the rural and economic development of the Campo Charro, Alba de Tormes and Guijuelo regions (ADRECAG, from the Spanish acronym) is a non-profit organisation that aims to involve all actors, both public and private, in the economic and sociocultural development strategies in the three regions in which it operates.

These actors can be city governments, commonwealths, individual businesspeople, cooperatives, any kind of associations (business, cultural, women’s…), etc. The collaboration and cooperation between all of these actors corresponds to what community terminology refers to as a Local Action Group (LAG), which manages local development programmes (PRODERCAL or LEADERCAL) in the region.
