ADECO CAMINO

The AMAYA-Camino de Santiago (St. James’ Way) Local Action Group was formed in 1991. Since then, it has created the LEADER, LEADER+, PRODER, and PRODERCAL programmes, and is currently developing the LEADERCAL plan.

The Association exists as a LAG (Local Action Group) whose vocation is to contribute to the regional development of its territorial area over time. It is a non-profit organisation with legal personality, with the ability to work fully and autonomously to achieve its objectives. The Association’s goal is to promote sustainable development at the economic, social and cultural level, pursuing overall development in the area using the interal potential possessed by the territory.

ADECO-Camino sees its particular role as that of representing the area and ensuring that its interests are taken into account by the different administrations and institutions, both public and private, national and international, that in any way are related to rural development.
