Justification of our participation in the TRINO project

ADEZOS’ interest in participating in TRINO, an Interterritorial Cooperation Project, is based on an interest in increasing the tourism demand during winter and spring, given that it is currently considered to be insufficient during these months. We also wish to continue to highlight the significance that the Natura 2000 ecology network has in our Autonomous Community, where birds are still beginning to be valued as a resource that generates measures in rural areas to drive and speed up a process of diversification of income in our territory. In this way, TRINO aims for this to have positive effects on the tourism sector, encouraging natural tourism that is compatible with the environment, and turning birdwatching into a sustainable activity. With this project we intend to put forth measures not only for the conservation of protected species of birds, but also to provide opportunities according to the demand, creating new expectations for the future in our rural regions.
